Here's one of my favourite quotes of Eleanor Roosevelt:
"Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people"
"Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people"
So well said.
How often do we hear people gossiping and judging and talking about others?
That's such a waste of energy as you cannot change other people.
And it is so not constructive........
Is it making the world a nicer place to live? No.....
Is it making you happier? Maybe for a moment it makes you feel good as it covers your own insecurity by trying to put others beneath you. But again, this is not sustainable. It's looking at things from the negative side and this influences your own mood and vibes in the end.
Therefor, be the change you want to see in other people and look at the positive. Start with yourself. Try complimenting others. At first it might be hard, but it will make you feel good and will make you a much more desirable person to be around.
